Feedback from our 2012 conference:

I would just like to add my thanks to the organisers for a wonderful conference. This was the most relaxed, and enjoyable one I have been to so far, and all the speakers added something to my basket of knowledge. Highlights for me – Randy’s “how to” on synopsis writing – I so hate those things; Steff Green’s brilliant talk on blogging; Eloise’s speechs, and yes, I too should have brought tissues; and the warmth and generosity of the agents and editor guests, both at pitches and in the general run of the conference. They were always so welcoming and ready to talk. Thank you in particular, from me as a writer of NZ historicals, for bringing in NZ editors – Harriet and Katie were great.

WOW! What a fabulous conference! So much wisdom and so many light bulb moments!

This was my third conference with RWNZ and I’m going to say – my favourite. I learned so many interesting facts and figures from Randy Ingermanson, and loved every minute of the workshops with Steff Green and Sophia James. As for Eloisa’s keynote address – well, I’m just glad I packed a full pack of tissues!

Other than that, the venue was great, the food was great, the company was excellent and I feel so very privileged to belong to such a fantastic organization. Thank you to everyone who had a hand in “Love is in the Air”. It was wonderful :)
