Rachael Herron is the internationally bestselling author of more than two dozen books, including romance, thriller (under R.H. Herron), mainstream fiction, memoir, and nonfiction about writing. She received her MFA in writing from Mills College, Oakland, and she teaches writing extension workshops at both UC Berkeley and Stanford. She is a proud member of the NaNoWriMo Writer’s Board. Kathryn Burnett is an award-winning screenwriter who won this year’s NZ TV Awards Best Drama Script Award (with Riwia Brown) for the telefeature “The Tender Trap” which is based on the true life romance scam story of kiwi Sharon Armstrong. Kathryn has worked in the NZ television/film industry for over 20 years and has significant television and film credits including “Under The Vines” “My Life is Murder”and “Fresh Eggs” to name but a few.
In 2020 she was the script editor on TVNZ’s limited series “Black Hands” and her latest play “The Campervan” is scheduled for production at the Pumphouse Theatre in Auckland later this year. In addition to write, she runs The Writing Room and facilitates inspiring writing workshops and programmes throughout New Zealand.
